In 1998 Zalsa was first made at home in Dayton, Ohio. My son like many other children started going to daycare at the age of 6 weeks. His food habits were shaped by what was given there. Like any other mother I had a hard time making my son eat vegetables. I tried cheese on everything. It did not seem to work. I would make Zalsa once a week and one day my son dipped the carrot I gave him into Zalsa and that was it! He even started eating broccoli with Zalsa! I started to use it on omelets and experimented its use with other recipes.

Zalsa became a natural hit during friends & family get-togethers. Its refreshing and unique taste made it popular. Our homemade Zalsa is now in production (produced in FDA approved clean and hygienic facility) since 2007 and sold by our company G-Foods LLC., based in St. Louis. MO. The hallmark of Zalsa is its natural and fresh ingredients and versatility of use, which allows customers to garnish a wide variety of foods. Its tomatoes are rich in antioxidants like Lycopene and five tablespoons of it can be considered as one serving of vegetable. The combination of spices brings out the ZING.
